Visit a Tap Project Restaurant During World Water Week

Unlike most of our tips, this Daily Footstep is actually going to cost money you wouldn’t normally spend. World Water Week runs through March 28th. As part of the observance, over 2,300 restaurants around the country are teaming up for the Tap Project. It’s pretty simple: You’ll be changed for that free glass of water with your meal. The money goes to UNICEF, and for every dollar donated, a child will have clean drinking water for 40 days. Use this page to locate a participating restaurant. Can’t find one?
