Weekend Project: Do Something Nice for Your Heart

By Chris Baskind in The Daily Footstep

Friday is Go Red for Women Day, an event sponsored by the American Heart Association to highlight heart disease in women. While a lot of people will be wearing red at work today, you needn’t be a woman or live in the U.S. to participate. This weekend, visit their site and pick up a few tips on being good to your heart. Then do something: Start a walking program, resolve to quit smoking, or whip-up a heart-friendly meal. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, there’s never been a more appropriate time to lead with your heart.
