It’s Time to Get Your Clothesline Ready for Spring

By Chris Baskind in The Daily Footstep

That clothes dryer is a huge convenience during the winter months, but it’s also one of your home’s biggest energy hogs. With spring — and longer days — just around the corner, it’s time to get your clothesline back in order. You certainly don’t have to use it for every load, but you’ll save a little money each time. Don’t have a clothesline? It can be something as simple as a rope tied between two trees. But a modern parallel dryer should handle a full washer load at a time, last for years, and cost less than $50.
