Staying Warm the Smart Way

By Chris Baskind in The Daily Footstep

This weekend is bringing record cold to much of North America. While it’s too late for big fix-up projects, save energy and stay warm by playing it smart. Close doors and shut down heat to unneeded rooms, closets, and storage. Dress warmly around the house. Make sure doors and windows are tightly closed — use towels to blocks drafts. Shut the drapes. And pour yourself a nice warm coffee or cocoa!

Although a lot of this is common sense, it is nice to have a reminder of a green and money-saving way to keep our homes nice and toasty! I've added you to my 'Friday Faves' list of posts for the week.
