Holiday Entertaining? Skip the Disposables

By Chris Baskind in Christmas, Holidays, The Daily Footstep

There’s nothing more important during the holidays than spending time with family. It’s tempting to consider the convenience of disposable plates, napkins, and tableware if you’re entertaining. A better plan is to just leave everything in the sink and enjoy your company. They’ll keep — really. If you must go with disposables, make sure everything makes its way to the recycling bin.

Or makes it to your compost bin - Chinet makes some compostable paper plates. I use them somewhat guilt free ;-)

Your family is the most important thing you have. They should not be insulted with disposable plates and tableware during the Christmas time.
