Yes, You Can Reuse Vacuum Bags

By Chris Baskind in The Daily Footstep

There’s not much green about an electric vacuum cleaner. But you can cut down on paper and landfill waste by emptying that “disposable” vacuum bag for another use. Most will last three or four cycles before needing replacement. It’s a messy job you’ll want to do outdoors over a dropcloth. Use gloves and carefully remove the bag contents. Consider a mask if you have allergies. Bonus: vacuum lint is sometimes compostable.
