With winter weather on the way, this weekend would be a good time to check the condition of your home’s weather stripping. Look for cracks along door and window seals. Don’t forget door thresholds. A lighter is a good tool to check for leaks: if the flame dances when held close to joints, the seal isn’t tight. Replace damaged or missing stripping.
