Add Baking Soda to Your Cleaning Arsenal

By Chris Baskind in The Daily Footstep

It’s tough to beat plain baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) as a natural cleaner. It’s non-toxic, absorbs odors, and washes away cleanly. Use a dab of powder on a damp sponge or sprinkle directly on surfaces. Need some extra scrubbing power? Add a small amount of course kosher or common table salt. This combination is particularly effective as a grime-blasting bathroom cleaner.
